I led TOSCO Myanmar company’s first hybrid mobile application by integrating with a remote cloud API provided by our Japanese team. While the Japanese team handled the backend services—such as the reward stamp and points calculation logic—our Myanmar software team took full responsibility for the frontend development. Since it was our first mobile project, none of us had prior experience with mobile app development. With guidance from the Japan team and a strong spirit of exploration and teamwork, we successfully delivered our company’s first mobile product for a well-known client.
Following this, we developed our own in-house stamp reward app, and later customized a reward application for another Japanese client by closely studying their existing system.
To further enhance our mobile UI development capabilities, I enrolled in Udemy online courses to keep up with modern technologies. We applied what we learned to plan and deliver over three mobile apps, using Figma for UI design and Ionic Angular for frontend development—laying the groundwork to serve future clients more effectively.
